Our Congregation

We are a relatively new American Baptist church (incorporated in 1981) located in the rapidly growing, seaside community of Sandwich, which has a population of approximately 18,000.

We are a very diverse congregation. We have people not only from American Baptist Churches but from other mainline churches: independent Baptist, Assembly of God, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Roman Catholic, and others.

OUR MISSION IS TO LEAD PEOPLE TO JESUS AND MEMBERSHIP IN HIS FAMILY, ENCOURAGE THEM TO CHRIST-LIKE MATURITY, AND EQUIP THEM FOR MINISTRY IN THE CHURCH AND THE WORLD, IN ORDER TO GLORIFY GOD.
